Sergey Dogadin Plays Mendelssohn

Sergei Dogadin – winner of ten international violin competitions, including Premio Paganini in Italy, Yuri Yankelevich competition in Russia, Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover, winner of three special prizes at the prestigious ARD competition in Munich. In 2019, Sergei Dogadin triumphantly won the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. In this programme he brilliantly performs Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. Alexander Sladkovsky is acclaimed as an aristocrat among the new generation of Russian conductors. Since 2010, he is the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra in the city of Kazan (Tatarstan, Russia).
