8K: Revival Of Legendary Performances

2020 marks the 30th year since Leonard Bernstein passed away. The master negatives of Mahler’s entire symphonies captured on 35 mm film, which he conducted in the 1970s, were stored frozen under strict control in the archives of Unitel. All compositions have been remastered uniquely by NHK into ultra-high definition 8K images and 22.2 surround sound. The performances of the time have been revived vividly.
