Arvo Pärt. The Diaries

The documentary focuses on the Arvo Pärt music diaries, which he has kept since his creative crisis in the early 1970s until now. Texts and reflections from the pages of these diaries are also the foundation for the centre’s permanent exhibition When You Seek From Almost Nothing. The composer's wife Nora Pärt, curators of the exhibition, Kristina Kõrver and Kai Kutman, and musicologist Toomas Siitan are speaking in the film. You can also see and hear Arvo Pärt reading his music diaries. Produced for Arvo Pärt’s 85th birthday in collaboration with Arvo Pärt Centre.
