Cantes De Luz – Rocío Márquez

The young singer Rocío Márquez (Huelva, 1985) never tires of coming back to the more traditional flamenco while clearly positioning herself in the family of flamenco renewers. She affirmed a noble and popular vision of this art, which she also knew how to overcome, as demonstrated by her collaborations with Fahmi Alqhai, Jorge Drexler, Rosa Torres Pardo, José Manuel Zapata and Christina Rosenvinge. In this flamenco recital of Esencias Jondas in the sublime Patio de la Acequia, Rocío Márquez is accompanied by the Granada-based guitarist Miguel Ángel Cortés.
