He was the incarnation of an operetta composer, his works were and are performed around the globe, he was the central star of one highly profitable entertainment business, protégé of Hitler and became known as "Puccini of the Little Man“: Franz Lehár. Commemorating his 150th birthday in 2020, an unusual film portrait, featuring the famous Austrian actors Wolfgang Hübsch and Aglaia Szyszkowitz, immerses in the life of the composer, who wrote music history and created operettas like The Merry Widow, The Count Of Luxembourg, The Land Of Smiles, The Tsarevich, Paganini, Friederike and Giuditta.
