Iveta Apkalna & Raimonds Pauls – International Organ Music Festival ORGANismi

Collaboration of the original organist and brilliant interpreter of new compositions, Iveta Apkalna, and the Latvian music legend, composer and pianist, Raimonds Pauls, and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra in the Concert Hall Gors. Compositions by Giya Kancheli, Samuel Barber and Raimonds Pauls in new arrangements for organ, piano, and orchestra feature in a programme created especially for Iveta Apkalna's organ music festival. The previously unheard instrumental combination offers a unique musical adventure that culminates in a long ovation. At the end of the concert, the musicians change places, and Raimonds Pauls plays the organ while Iveta Apkalna takes on the piano.
