Opening Of The 68th Ljubljana Festival

The recording of the first of the magnificent Beethoven summer concerts at the Congress Square in Ljubljana. The first lady of Slovenian pianism, Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak, performed the 3rd Piano Concerto in front of her home audiences. In 2020, the artist marked the 60th anniversary of her cooperation with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the 75th anniversary of her concert career, and the 80th anniversary of her birth. Then followed the famous Symphony No. 9, performed by internationally acclaimed opera singers, the choir and the orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonics, under the baton of guest conductor Charles Dutoit.
