Relive The Celebrated Performances! – Charismatic Conductors Revived By 8K Technology

Karl Böhm, Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, Carlos Kleiber. Recordings of concerts presented by charismatic conductors from the 1970s through the 1990s have been stored frozen under strict control in Germany. The films were cautiously thawed in Germany and scanned. The data that were sent to Japan were restored carefully one frame at a time, given grading and revived as high-definition images. The sound was remixed to 22.2 channel sound from the original multi-track recording. The programme introduces the behind-the-scenes look at these processes and impressions given by music critics and producers.
