The Coronation Of Darius

In the cast of this Incoronazione Di Dario are singers of international renown and proven competence in the baroque repertoire: the tenor Carlo Allemano, endowed with a powerful and malleable timbre; the contralto Delphine Galou, young but already successful; the bariton Riccardo Novaro, a reference performer in the belcanto repertoire; and the young soprano Roberta Mameli, who has made several Vivaldi recordings. Ottavio Dantone, on the podium, is today considered one of the leading conductors of baroque opera. This Vivaldi masterpiece has passages of remarkable beauty, extremely varied in colour and rhythm, for all the characters involved.
