Xavier De Maistre And The Harp

Xavier de Maistre is a fighter and campaigner, almost obsessively seeking to establish the harp as a solo instrument in today's concert world. During his career, Xavier proves passionately that the harp is not only a shiny golden instrument as a part of an orchestra but also a solo instrument with which one can masterfully play works from all musical periods. We join Xavier de Maistre as a soloist with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, as a teacher during rehearsals with his students from the Hamburg Academy of Music and as a sportsman when rowing in Monaco.
