8K: Revival Of Legendary Fine Performances – Nureyev & Fonteyn Present “Swan Lake“
Soviet-born Rudolf Nureyev, a peerless dancer of his generation, defected to the West and in 1966 gave a wondrous performance with the star ballerina Margot Fonteyn at the Vienna State Opera. The original negative film of this stage was stored frozen at the archives of Unitel and NHK has remastered it into the state-of-the-art video system 8K and 22.2 multichannel. The vibrant motion and sensitivity of the two gifted dancers are faithfully revived!!
