Advent Concert From Dresden

Year by year the traditional ZDF Advent concert takes place inside one of the most beautiful baroque churches of Germany, Dresden’s Frauenkirche. The festive program of 2021 included music from Handel to Humperdinck, featuring soloists such as famous pianist Lang Lang, young soprano Katharina Konradi and tenor Jonathan Tetelman. The renowned boys’ choir Dresdner Kreuzchor performed some sacred a cappella pieces, the Saxon State Opera Chorus and the Staatskapelle Dresden were conducted by Czech conductor Petr Popelka.
