This three-part series visits three different African metropolises (Dakar, Benin City, Cape Town) presenting their new museums, their up-and-coming art scenes and their cultural environment in large pictures and exciting stories. Along the way the series helps us to understand the global interactions that link the museum boom in Africa to the museum crisis in Europe.
