Exploring The Appeal Of The Piano With Makoto Ozone

With world-class pianist Makoto Ozone as the guest, the program explores what is so great about the “piano”. It touches on Bach and Chopin to Elton John and Ryuichi Sakamoto and conveys the history and current state of the musical instrument. The mechanism of how the piano produces sound, and the evolution of keyboard instruments will be shown in the studio. Such instruments as the cembalo, Hammond organ and the Rhodes piano are also on display! The program focuses on what the performers are particular about. It is a 29-minute show filled with the tone colors of the keyboard.
