Grand Edo X Baroque: A Collaboration Transcending Time And Space!
When the Baroque was flourishing in Europe, it was the early Edo Period in Japan. The Tokugawa Shogunate had adopted the isolationist policy and unique culture was maturing in the nation. Music from the East and West that never had the chance to meet transcend space and more than 300 years to bring forth new melodies. A rendition of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” reborn as an ensemble piece for koto that only has 13 strings cannot be missed!
