Facce d'Amore is a great opportunity to see and hear Jakub Jozef Orliński in a new programme, tailor-made to allow him to excel in a repertoire that is both moving and theatrical. Accompanied by the musicians of Il Pomo d'Oro, conducted by Zefira Valova, with a rhythm that is a pleasure to see – Orliński delights in deploying in these pieces a sense of theatre and accuracy of play that only the stage lacks. This magnificent theatre is the ideal setting for one of the most dazzling countertenors of his generation.
