In the 2020-2021 season, New World Symphony under the artistic guidance of Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas mounted an ambitious year long festival dedicated to percussion – Percussion Perspectives. The activities included three performances, masterclasses, workshops and several commissions. The stars of the festival were the Percussion and Piano Fellows of the New World Symphony.
