Leonidas Kavakos: Recital In Tokyo
Born in 1967 to a family of musicians in Athens, Leonidas Kavakos stepped into the limelight when he became the youngest entrant to win the first prize of the International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition in 1985. Ever since, he has continued to make his mark on the front line and is considered to be one of the greatest violinists of our time. In the latest concert he displayed his mastery by playing all three violin sonatas by Brahms. The concert was recorded in 4K images and 5.1 surround sound.
