Opus Klassik 2021

Opus Klassik is an award for classical music in Germany, given by the “Verein zur Förderung der klassischen Musik”. This society not only awards the prize to artists with outstanding recordings, but also puts the emphasis on supporting young musicians and special musical projects. The event took place at the Konzerthaus Berlin on October 10th. On stage, among others, were award winners Sonya Yoncheva, Piotr Beczala, Daniel Hope, Lucienne Renaudin Vary and Fatma Said. The Konzerthausorchester was conducted by Cornelius Meister. First time actress Désirée Nosbusch was host of the festive gala.
