The Barber Of Seville – From The Vienna State Opera
Gioachino Rossini's opera buffa "The Barber of Seville" is one of the most popular comedic operas and has a long performance tradition at the Vienna State Opera. Now the German actor, director and stage designer Herbert Fritsch has reinterpreted this popular masterpiece, with an outstanding ensemble of singers, who also excel in acting. Under the musical direction of Michele Mariotti, Juan Diego Flórez (Count Almaviva), Vasilisa Berzhanskaya (Rosina), Étienne Dupuis (Figaro), Paolo Bordogna (Bartolo) and Ildar Abdrazakov (Basilio) ignite the melodic fireworks in Rossini's score, which is rich in catchy tunes.
