The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is considered the world's best orchestra – the great dream for all instrumentalists. To get a job here, you need physical fitness, mental resilience, absolute dedication and a large portion of courage. The Karajan Academy offers a springboard. Whoever studies here for two years has a good chance of getting a seat in the orchestra. The competition is fierce and the possibility of failure enormous. How do the young musicians manage to withstand the pressure to perform and never lose sight of their love of music?
