The Voice Of The Birds

He learns from the birds and speaks with them in his own way. He would have loved to be as feather light as them. Their endless melodies and their infinite diversity of rhythms are his elixir of life. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death in April 2022 we recount Olivier Messiaen’s life story from the perspective of birds. In the dearest moments of his life, they are with him and their song in him. They know his secrets, his aspirations, his pain. They are his faith and his music.
