Toward Dance House

The new Dance House will open at Helsinki’s Cable Factory in February 2022. Three short videos highlight the journey to the new house for dance now under construction. The process has been a suspense drama, but now that the last sequins are being attached to the walls, it’s time to celebrate! Dancer and choreographer Tuomo Railo has represented dancers even alone at times in promoting the project with civil servants and politicians. Sini Peura found dance as a young girl recovering from an eating disorder. Since then dance has been an encouraging partner in life for her.
