Verbier Festival – Klaus Mäkelä Conducts Brahms And Schumann, With Daniel Lozakovich
Two young phenomenons of today's classical music scene: finnish conductor Klaus Mäkelä and swedish violonist Daniel Lozakovich, both in their twenties, perform Brahms' violin concerto with the Verbier Festival chamber orchestra. In the second half of the program, Klaus Mäkelä conducts Schumann's Symphony No. 2 which was composed in 1846, when the composer was 36 years old. Not much older than his performer!
