White Rose – Graphic Opera

The opera tells the story of the resistance movement in which Sophie and Hans Scholl rebelled against the National Socialists with life and limb. It reflects the last hours of the Scholl siblings before their execution as a touching drama of the soul. The occasion for the production was the 100th birthday of Sophie Scholl. With this new format, the Graphic Opera combines film, animation and historical documents into a total work of art. White Rose was awarded “A special mention for extraordinary artistic achievement” at Golden Prague International Television Festival 2021.
