Amélia Muge is a renowned singer and eclectic creator, revisiting the roots of traditional music through the challenges of multicultural fusion and the most contemporary languages. The visual component in her creations has always worked as a fundamental element of transdisciplinary inspiration. A Portuguese pioneer in individual singing with voices and in the creation of vocal environments, Amélia Muge developed timbral potentials, which, in an interaction with samples made from her voice, allow her to have a simultaneously plural and individual singing.
