Frailty Of Man

  • Alexander Ekmans "most challenging work" © Lucas Wallenberg

How do you go about trying to tell about the untellable? When choreographer Alexander Ekman was asked to make a piece about the Holocaust he was faced with a set of questions that were almost unsolveable. - It was the most challenging thing I've ever done. And it really moved me -, says Ekman. In close collaboration with literary manager Carina Nildalen and composer Mikael Karlsson, a visual artwork with five actors/dancers was created and premiered at Artipelag Art Gallery. - I almost lost my fate in humanity during the process. But then something promising happened -, says Ekman.
