The Spell Songs Ensemble is a group of folk musicians originally formed to complement the 2017 book “The Lost Words” by writer and poet Robert Macfarlane and designer Jackie Morris. The Ensemble consists of renowned musicians like Karine Polwart, seven times winner of the BBC, Radio 2, Folk Award. Their music blends a diverse array of sounds, musical and linguistic influences from Orkney to Senegal. They are an integral part of the upcoming documentary “Lost For Words” by Hannah Papacek Harper. “A delightful homage to nature” (The Times).
