Interplay: Golnar & Mahan Trio In St. Corona

The Golnar & Mahan Trio combines elements of contemporary jazz, microtonal modes from Southwest Asia, European chamber and experimental music into an original sound. A mix that elegantly draws attention to a new generation of creatives in the European diaspora. The trio with Iranian-Canadian-Austrian roots presents songs from their highly acclaimed debut album "Derakht" and new, as yet unreleased, songs. Presenter Teresa Vogl acts as a representative for the live audience and gets into conversation with the three in between.
