Music Of Sokichi Ozaki, A Composer Who Perished In The War
Sokichi Ozaki is a composer who wrote chamber music and symphonies in Japan during the 1930s. Despite being recognized for his talent, Ozaki went to war and died at the young age of 30. Violinist Reiko Watanabe, cellist Nobuo Furukawa and the Quartet Integra performed his works that had been largely forgotten in the postwar years. It is a program that carries on his music and hands it down to the future now when peace is on the mind of everyone around the world.
