In The Middle Of The Night

Within Olga Roriz’s body of work, A Meio da Noite is on the path towards a more abstract and introspective realm. Its title evokes the hour of the wolf, that time between night and day when all ghosts are set loose, when more people die and more people are born. It also echoes The Hour of the Wolf (1968) by Ingmar Bergman. A Meio da Noite could be described as a visit by the Portuguese choreographer to the film work of the Swedish director.
