The Sleeping Beauty
With ‘Sleeping Beauty’, Piotr Ilyich Tschaikovsky has created one of the most beautiful pieces in ballet history. It was devised in a unique collaboration with Marius Petipa and most probably belongs to the most treasured classics of all. Nacho Duato retells this beloved fairytale in his very own style as he translates the magical spirit of this famous ballet into truly enchanting images. Duato’s unique style of choreography, also visible in classical ballet, captivates the audience up to the very last minute with humor and a musicality.
