Last November, over 2,000 singers from across the globe joined forces with conductor and composer Sir Karl Jenkins to perform the most popular contemporary choral work of our days: The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace. The multi-faith and multi-language piece describes the build up to war, war itself and the consequences of war. A specially made film was projected onto multi screens during the performance in synch with the music. The performance marked the centenary of the end of the First World War.
