Kyung Wha Chung Violin Recital

  • © Simon Fowler

Violin virtuoso Kyung Wha Chung held this concert in Tokyo to commemorate her 70th year of birth. In 2005, she left the stage due to a finger injury. How did she face music while the injury kept her from playing the violin? The programme also features an interview with the artist who spoke about her music making now that she has turned 70. She is accompanied by Kevin Kenner, a pianist she gives the fullest trust. The life-stage concert is recorded in 4K and 5.1 surround sound.
