If Iannis Xenakis drew part of his inspiration from mythology and telluric forces, it is the infinite cosmos that Hector Parra feeds in part his own. The Catalan composer has already created many works that musically transpose the latest theories in astrophysics. With his creation Inscape, presented on 19 May in Barcelona, he is now interested in the mysterious "black holes". A work conceived in close collaboration with the astrophysicist Jean-Pierre Luminet and dedicated to the physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking, who recently disappeared.
