Lascia

  • © Nils Nouchi

There is music that speaks to everybody. Georg Friedrich Händel's aria Lascia Ch’io Pianga from his opera Rinaldo, is one of those irresistable pieces. Originally written for a soprano, it has been arranged for all instruments including harp and theremin. Now, some of Europes most prestigious schools decided to collaborate to perform the ultimate version. The Adolf Fredriks Music School Choir sings conducted by Natalia Edvall and dancers from Alhanko Academy of Ballet perform a classic choreography by renowned Mia Stagh. Recorded at Stockholm city hall's Golden Ballroom where the Nobel Prize festivities takes place every year.
