Move! – Season 2

In Season 2 of Move!, Luxembourgian dancer and choreographer Sylvia Camarda explores the culture of dance and movement between Africa and Europe, seeking answers to the question: What moves people? While movement is highly individual, like a body’s fingerprint, it also appears to follow a collective process. What determines the movements of a community or a nation? Is the way we walk, gesticulate or dance already invested in our genes? Or is it the result of millennia of collective experiences? In Tunis, Paris, Dakar, Johannesburg and Berlin, Sylvia encounters fascinating artists and intellectuals to explore the characteristics of our movements.
