After the two successful previous projects “New Shakespeare Songbook” and “New European Songbook”, the EBU focused on the topic “War and Peace” in the commemorative year 2018. Local artists were asked to elaborate musically on the topic. The Austrian entry featured the Song “Dark Was The Night Cold Was The Ground” by the Austrian indie rock band Cari Cari. The Video-Clip was directed by Luzi Katamay.
