The year 2018 has been marked by two important anniversaries, the 90th anniversary of Radio Slovenia and the 60th anniversary of Television Slovenia. One of the oldest big bands in the world, the RTV Slovenia Big Band is operating under the aegis of RTV / TV Slovenija. The concert of the Big Band took place at the Old Power Station in Ljubljana. The instrumental solo was performed by Don Menza, the legendary American saxophonist, who has played with the world’s greatest big bands under the leadership of renowned musicians, such as Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton and Buddy Rich.
