Tasty Tones

What did the composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Jean Sibelius, Ethel Smyth, Erik Satie, Hildegard von Bingen and Richard Strauss eat and drink? Tasty Tones is a 6-part mini-series combining cultural history, classical music and cooking. The short format is employed as an asset in the editing and the visualisation as whole. Music and cooking sounds give the narrative rhythm. Each episode is supplemented with an animated sound recipe. Musicologist Susanna Välimäki and YLE's Janne Palkisto join the composers at their dining tables with lashing of clutter, banter and humour. This is the second season of Tasty Tones.
