Young Virtuosos: Alexander Gadjiev And Lara Hrastnik
Studio visualization of young Slovene music virtuosos, pianist Alexander Gadjiev and harpist Lara Hrastnik – guided by the immortal music of Chopin (Etude op. 25) and Debussy (Clair De Lune). Both musicians are perfecting their knowledge at the renowned University Mozarteum in Salzburg. Tutored by his father, a well-known Russian teacher, Alexander played for the first time with an orchestra at the age of nine and held his first solo recital aged ten. At the Ninth Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, the jury, which included Martha Argerich, Akiko Ebi and Sergey Babayan, among others, awarded him the first prize.
