On 8 September 2018, President Vladimir Putin opened the Zaryadye Philharmonic Hall, a brilliant new venue in Zaryadye Park, Moscow. In this documentary by Antoine Perset we witness the planning and construction of the hall, listen to Toyota, who was responsible for the acoustics and meet some of the artists who performed at the opening Gala. Performance clips give us an idea of the scope of the enterprise and its artistic success. Nothing was left to chance, which is quite normal with projects of this magnitude, but whether the builders succeed is a different matter.
