This 4-part series visits four different African metropolises (Cairo, Dakar, Benin City, Cape Town) presenting their new museums, their up-and-coming art scenes and their cultural environment in large pictures and exciting stories. The series shows their main exhibits, talks to the crucial minds and helps us to understand the global interactions that link the museum boom in Africa to the museum crisis in Europe.
