András Schiff Conducts Cappella Andrea Barca

András Schiff is a master pianist who has embraced the tradition of German and Austrian music by Bach, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven over more than three decades by recording complete works. As we await Beethoven’s memorial year in 2020, Schiff organized a concert featuring complete piano concertos by Beethoven over two days in Tokyo in November 2019. Appearing with Schiff on stage is Cappella Andrea Barca formed by the consisting of prominent players. Schiff himself conducts and gives solo performances. The programme offers excellent performances that will go down in history of Beethoven renditions of the 21st Century.
