Eurovision Choir
The second edition of Eurovision Choir provided a colourful journey across Europe’s musical cultures. The a cappella competition, produced by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) was broadcast by public broadcasters in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Norway, Scotland, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and Wales. 3,500 spectators filled Gothenburg’s Partille Arena, with over a million viewers across Europe, as ten competing choirs performed in front of a jury consisting of British composer John Rutter, Swedish vocalist Katarina Henryson and American performer Deke Sharon. Three choirs from Latvia, Denmark and Slovenia were selected to return for a contrasting second set before the winner was determined.
