An intimate, classy, jazz-infused nocturne. As performed by the piano duo Fred Hersch and Gwilym Simcock in the spring of 2019. Fred Hersch, one of the most highly thought-of stars of the contemporary New York jazz scene was an artist in residence at the Chiasso Jazz Festival; that evening he chose a very special, cosy mood: two pianos in the middle of the room with the audience all around and the lights turned low.
