Klassik Am Odeonsplatz 2019 – Munich Philharmonic

Star of this year's Klassik Am Odeonsplatz with Munic Philharmonic was Daniil Trifonov. He played the Piano Concerto No. 5 (The Emperor) by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert focused on several pieces of the genius, whose 250th birthday will be celebrated in 2020. Maestro Valery Gergiev dedicated this concert as a premature present conducting the Coriolan Ouverture and the Symphony No. 5 (Fate Symphony).
