With up to 123,000 visitors, the Rheingau Musik Festival is one of the largest classical music events in Europe. With MagentaMusik 360, Deutsche Telekom broadcasts classical music for the first time. One of the highlights was Sir Simon Rattle’s debut at Rheingau Musik Festival. Long awaited, the outstanding chief conductor brought with him the orchestra with which he set out for new musical shores in autumn 2017: the London Symphony Orchestra. And what’s more, Janine Jansen’s performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor, is thrilling!
