Lucerne Festival 2019: Emmanuel Pahud, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Jakub Hrůša

This concert features favourites of the classical and romantic repertoire. The solo part in Mozart's Flute Concerto is performed by Swiss musician and leading flutist of our time, Emmanuel Pahud, the principal flutist of the Berlin Philharmonic. Czech conductor Jakub Hrůša, in his debut at the Lucerne Festival, leads the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Hrůša, a student of Jiří Bělohlávek and head of Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, is acclaimed to be one of the finest conductors of his young generation.
