MOVE! Africa

  • Real Actions Pantsula & Sylvia Camarda - South Africa © Yann Tonner

Dance is never just “l’art pour l’art”; it is always a political statement as well, reflecting the identity, rebellion, religion, transformation or self-empowerment of its authors. In the second season of MOVE!, the Luxembourg dancer and choreographer Sylvia Camarda sets out on research expeditions to South Africa, Senegal and Tunisia to study dance, always in pursuit of the question: What moves us as human beings?
